Wednesday I had a meeting in Connecticut at Tracey Locke (an advertising agency, with clients like Pepsi Co. & Frito Lay) so the manfriend Carma came with me on the three hour car ride ($18 in tolls) then sat outside waiting for me while I had my three hour meeting. He’s a good man, supportive and loving and I wouldn’t trade Carma for anything.
The Tracey Locke stuff went well, I got some great feedback on my work a lot of compliments about my photography and design skills (check my new site out at Jenn-Haskins.com ) so that was nice, the agency was pretty awesome, unfolding into more expansive rooms that held chalkboard walls and exposed ceilings. The best analogy I could use to describe the structure of the building was similar to Mary Poppins bag… you could fit a lot in to what seemed like a small space!
Carma and I went out and grabbed an appetizer and a delicious beer at this place called The Gingerman. DELICIOUS beer and food! Just before we were about to leave we ran into this graffiti of “Where The Wild Things Are”. If you know Carma at all he is max, so we quick snapped this picture, and were on our way three hour journey home!
