Needless to say working full time and going to school full time is stressful. But I LOVE my job at Sorrelli and I can not wait to graduate! I love working and I love being in the (so-called) “real world”. Today was especially overwhelming with the amount of work I had so I threw on some Hall & Oates Pandora and then created my own little playlist to get me through the work load I have tonight. A little mix between 70’s rock, motown, and some indy persuasion (i guess you could say). Take a listen and enjoy!
Disclaimer: This playlist may distract you and cause uncontrollable dancing!

Notes 2012 Resolutions (better late then never)

    1. Cut down Coke (or Coffee) intake to only two daily (one or the other)
Look, we all have our vices. I absolutely love my caffeine. Going a day without caffeine will lead to those headaches and the shakes I get in my hands. I mean I could be addicted to something worse! Of course I’m aware it’s terrible for me, and I’m planing on scaling back- especially with Chase on my back and giving me those judging mom eyes!

    2. Drink eight glasses of water a day!

    3. Leave my phone alone
It kills me to think how much of the year I wasted by checking my stupid Gmail, Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook.

    4. Shoot…more
Since my phone will be down my camera can be towards my eye! I sometimes get this feeling like I’m not a real photographer because my camera isn’t glued to my body. As much as I love photography, my camera, and the feeling I get when I shoot I also enjoy seeing the world through my own eyes and keeping a mental image that no one else will ever be able to reproduce. I will however create a conscious effort to shoot more.

    5. Devise a realistic work out routine with attainable goals
We all have done it, January 1st hits and we are all on crash diets and dishing out copious amounts of money for gym memberships (that we all know we will go to for a week- maybe two)! My excuse is of course “well I used to dance all the time and now I don’t know how to train my body.” But I need to cut the excuses and learn my body and how to work it out.

    6. Find a Job (relating to my major- design/photography/styling/planning)
As much of a badass I think I am and I’m not worried about finding a job, honestly it’s always in the back of my mind and I’m scared of the failure!

    7. Fake my own disappearance for three months
Crazy right? But faking my own disappearance seems like the ideal way to free up some space in my life. Take some time off for travel, sleeping in, lounging in pajamas all day, and of course getting away from my full time student schedule plus 3+ jobs. Then when I come back, all my friends will be so happy I’m not dead!

    8. Relax, breath, and don’t stress

    9. Stay in Love and respect the love I have
When the stress overwhelms me I become a crazy, impractical woman and I take that stress out on the ones I love. My actions are embarrassing and I need to work on my breathing and relax before I explode… The Grand Canyon Technique!

    10. Find time for me.
So I can create new things (my DIY & how to blogs will finally get some use). Cook with new ingredients. Calm my mind to read a book from start to finish. *So I guess this can all be accomplished on my three month hiatus!
